OPD services: We have increased the sitting capacity for patients attending OPD by making separate enclosures for male and female patients. OPD attendance of patients has increased more than 8500 as compared to 2021-2022. Patients attended OPD in the year 2023-2024.

Basic Amenities for the Patients
Rehabilitation Unit: In the male section file, soap and detergent powder making units and in the female section Agarbati, shawl & knitting of sweaters have been added in the year under review.
Yoga and Meditation: The institute has added Yoga and Meditation facilities both in male and female section.

The institute is recognized for especial posting (psychiatric hospital) of MBBS students from different medical colleges of Bihar and Jharkhand. Post graduate students of clinical psychology and psychiatric social work from different part of the country are also posed for their field training in the institute. Students of M. Phil in Clinical Psychology come for their clinical training from various Institute/ University.
