Facilities available at RINPAS
OPD services: We have increased the sitting capacity for patients attending OPD by making separate enclosures for male and female patients. OPD attendance of patients has increased more than 4000 as compared to 2012-2013.Patients attended OPD in the year 2018-2019.
Indoor facilities: we are ensuring quality assurance in care of indoor patients by providing clean surroundings, hygienic toilets, nutritious diet, recreational facilities and vocational training. A total of 2172 cases were admitted during 2018-2019.
Basic Amenities for the Patients
Rehabilitation Unit: In the male section file, soap and detergent powder making units and in the female section Agarbati, shawl & knitting of sweaters have been added in the year under review.
Yoga and Meditation: The institute has added Yoga and Meditation facilities both in male and female section.

Library: RINPAS had well established central Library with more then 19162 books and 5684 Journals.
Training & Research:The Institute conducts courses in the department of Psychiatry, Clinical Psychology, Psychiatric Social Work and Psychiatric Nursing.

The Institute is recognized for especial posting (Psychiatric hospital) of MBBS students from different medical colleges of Bihar and Jharkhand. Post graduate students of psychology, and social work, and nursing students from different part of the country are also posted for their field training in the institute. Students of M.Phil in Clinical Psychology come for their clinical training from various recognized Institute/University.
